Upcoming Game Group: December 10: 6:30-9pm

This Saturday at the game group we're going to feature Christmas Celebration, the Christmas themed version of the game Celebrities (aka Time's Up). As usual we'll have lots of favorites: 7 Wonders, Five Crowns, Wits & Wagers Family, Rummikub, Rock the Beat, Loco Motive, and Bounties and Blasters. Of course, there will be many many more games on hand to try out and we're always open to suggestion or requests.

Upcoming Game Group: November 12: 6:30-9pm

No surprises here. Remember we're in the middle of a move. This will be the last Game Group before the big move, so let's have fun and celebrate that the next time we'll have our full game library to choose from. I still wasn't able to play Bag-O-Loot, so we'll try again. Bag-O-Loot is a simple game to learn, but has some interesting elements of strategy, luck, and bluffing. As usual we'll have lots of favorites: 7 Wonders, Five Crowns, Wits & Wagers Family, Rummikub, Rock the Beat, Loco Motive, and Bounties and Blasters. Of course, there will be many many more games on hand to try out and we're always open to suggestion or requests.

Did you hear that the Riddells are moving to Webster? In celebration of that I would like to have a pick-up and delivery themed game night. The problem is that we've picked up most of our games and delivered them to our new street. Oh well, we'll still have at least one excellent example of a pick-up and delivery game available, Niagara , where you travel treacherousness waters in a canoe picking up gems and delivering them back to safety before you plunge over the falls. It's a fun award winning game. We'll also have a new, simple card game that I'd like to get to the table called Bag-O-Loot. It's a simple game to learn, but has some interesting elements of strategy, luck, and bluffing. You also steal a lot from each player and when you get rid of your cards you commit a robbery, but I hesitated to mention this since we play at our church.
