Game Group is back this Saturday just in time for Christmas. Let's celebrate by playing some shiny new games together or settling in with old familiar favorites.

Upcoming Game Night: 11/11 6:30-9pm

We're having a special night at the Crossroads Game Group this Saturday, November 11 from 6:30-9pm.

Of course we'll be playing spectacular favorite, new, and classic games. Recent favorites include Werewords, Ethnos, Mountains of Madness, Unspeakable Words, Fuji Flush, Happy Salmon, Trains, The Great Dinosaur Rush, Asking for Trobils, Kingdomino, Raiders of the North Sea, Roll Player, ...

In addition, we're also hoping to support Operation Christmas Child by having some of the youth from our homeschool group prepare shoeboxes full of gifts for needy children around the world.

Here's where you can help. Come play games (of course), but also consider bringing in a few items for a shoebox (some guidelines below).

Things for the shoebox: Start with a quality “wow” item such as a stuffed animal, soccer ball with pump, or clothing outfit that will capture the child’s attention the instant he or she opens the box. Also, include toys, games, hygiene items, and school supplies.

Do not include: Candy; toothpaste; used or damaged items; war-related items such as toy guns, knives, or military figures; chocolate or food; seeds; fruit rolls or other fruit snacks; drink mixes (powdered or liquid); liquids or lotions; medications or vitamins; breakable items such as snow globes or glass containers; aerosol cans.
