Upcoming Game Night: 2/16 6:30-9pm

Join us for another game group this Saturday, February 16 from 6:30-9pm. We just got in Dice Throne: Season 2 and it is a massive thing of beauty. Come see what we're talking about and maybe play it as well.
Another great production is Between Two Castles of Mad King Ludwig, a mash up between the games Between Two Cities and The Castles of Mad King Ludwig where you build wonderfully elaborate castles with both of your neighbors. At the end of the game you'll have helped build two castles, and the person whose least scoring castle has the highest score wins. If you don't know who Mad King Ludwig was then check out some of his magnificent castles.
We've also started to going through the backlog of games remembering those that we haven't played in a while, like the hilarious Snorta, which is what you get when you mix Slap Jack, animal sounds, and poor memory.
Sometimes we'll get a game and for one reason or another we don't learn for a while, like Hyperborea a fun Euro-trash bag building game, that's neither hyper nor boring. What does Hyperborea mean? It's a perfect land beyond Thrace supposedly inhabited by giants where the sun never sets. According to the classical Greek poet Pindar, "neither by ship nor on foot would you find the marvellous road to the assembly of the Hyperboreans". Ahhh, the wonder that is Wikipedia. Alas, the game is nothing like this, but it's a fun game for up to 6.
Of course, there will be many many more games on hand to try out and we're always open to suggestion or requests, so come on and suggest or request something.
